Data Governance Assessment, Vision, and Implementation

The objective of the Data Governance project was to assess the existing data governance practices within the organization, define a vision for an enhanced data governance framework, and implement the necessary strategies and processes to improve data management and decision-making.

Assessment phase

During the assessment phase, our team conducted a comprehensive review of the organization's current data governance practices. This involved analyzing data governance policies, data quality management processes, data ownership and stewardship, metadata management, and data privacy and security measures. We also interviewed key stakeholders and conducted workshops to gain insights into the organization's data challenges and opportunities.

Key Findings:

The assessment revealed several areas for improvement, including inconsistent data definitions, inadequate data quality controls, fragmented ownership and accountability, and a lack of standardized metadata management.
